We are raising money for Sheffield Children's Hospital and Weston Park Hospital to say thank you for the care they gave to our daughter Izzy when she was undergoing treatment for Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.

The first week
Well we are into our first week and have had quite a few people signing up to the challenge which is great news. If anyone else wants to get involved just email me to let me know you are interested.
Already this week we had our very first mile completed on a mile long zip wire by Raychel McGuin and her husband Steve at Zip World in Wales, (pictured above), many thanks to them for getting the ball rolling (or zip sliding) for us!
We have also had some fantastic press coverage this week, the challenge has been featured in the Sheffield Star, Sheffield Telegraph and the Yorkshire Post.
Keep spreading the word about our challenge.

Delighted to kick off the challenge with our mile at around 90mph! It was such a buzz, an amazing experience for a really great cause.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the rest of the challenge go #teamizzy
